Director, Solutions Engineering

Global-e (Nasdaq: GLBE) is the world’s leading platform to enable and accelerate global, direct-to-consumer cross-border e-commerce growth. We make selling internationally as simple as selling domestically for hundreds of retailers and brands worldwide.  

We’re looking for a skilled and enthusiastic US Director of Solutions to lead support for our Sales, Project, Product and R&D teams. You will lead a solutions team supporting both presales and delivery activities, working closely with various stakeholders to understand market needs, develop innovative solutions, and ensure successful implementation for our clients.


  • Lead and mentor the solutions team, ensuring alignment with company goals as well as providing guidance, support, and fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation
  • Foster alignment between pre-sales and delivery functions to drive efficiency and mitigate risks
  • Engage with clients to understand their pain points and business requirements
  • Present solutions effectively, demonstrating value and ROI
  • Leverage insights to enhance our solutions and maintain a competitive edge
  • Collaborate with partners to expand our reach and enhance our offerings
  • Lead to define and implement best practices and guidelines for the team to work with clients and integrate the Global-e solution
  • Partner with product management and engineering teams to prioritize feature enhancements and new capabilities based on market feedback and business requirements
  • Work with the team to identify and qualify business opportunities, identify our key customers’ technical objections and develop a strategy to resolve technical impediments
  • Make recommendations on integration strategies, enterprise architectures, platforms and application infrastructure and provide customers with “best practices” in order to optimize and ensure the effectiveness of the Global-e’s integrated platform


  • Customer-centric mindset with a passion for delivering value and driving customer success
  • 6+ years of experience in a similar presales / solutions consulting leadership role
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Experience in solution design / integration with direct client interaction, in SaaS-based environment
  • Experience in collaborating closely with remote teams
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset
  • Previous experience in eCommerce and Logistics/Operations environment is a strong advantage
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, computer science, engineering, or related field

Salary range: $200,000/yr – $230,000/yr + bonus + RSU
