In the Netherlands, for example, where the number of orders has increased by 24% ,78% of shoppers opt to pay with iDeal.

Furthermore, offering international shoppers the option to prepay any duties and taxes owed at checkout has also had a high adoption rate. 87% of Doughnut’s international customers across all relevant markets choose to prepay duties and taxes at checkout when given the option. In markets where every purchase is subject to local VAT due to low thresholds, such as Switzerland and Australia, the brand can now present shoppers with the final cost of the product, including all applicable customs duties & taxes, with a guarantee that no additional duties will be charged upon delivery.
