We're looking for an experienced .NET architect to join the Core department and take a significant part in the development and design of Global-e's core system. 

In this role, you will be involved in the following tasks (partial list...): 

• Mentor and serve as a technical focal point for developers in the group
• Design & Write code for new systems, modules and micro-services 
• Refactor and improve the existing code base
• Participate in code reviews for team members and colleagues 
• Technically support product owners on new/existing features
• Research performance issues across all app layers 
• Research new technologies and tools 

Requirements

• End to end experience developing web applications with emphasis on server-side development 
• Hands-on development experience in large & complex systems – at least 10 years 
• Proven experience developing end to end web applications with ASP.Net – at least 5 years 
• Experience with .Net Core at least 3 years - advantage 
• Deep understanding of front-end development 
• Experience working with micro-services 
• Experience working with relational & NoSQL databases 
• Writing unit testing using major frameworks – nunit, xunit, etc.  
• Sense of ownership and pride in your work
