Assistant Controller

Global-e is looking for an Assistant Controller to join our growing Finance team in Israel.


  • Prepare statutory financial statements in accordance with US GAAP and local GAAP, working closely with external auditors and tax advisors 
  • Take full ownership from A to Z on the monthly and quarterly closing processes in multiple entities around the globe. 
  • Support the bookkeeping function in day-to-day activities to ensure accurate and reliable financial records 
  • Support the overall financial accounting unit, working with our finance teams around the globe. 
  • Partner with cross-functional stakeholders, providing valuable financial and accounting insights 
  • Assist in the implementation of new systems, reporting enhancements, internal controls, and ad hoc projects 


Requirements:
  • CPA with Big 4 experience - Must 
  • Hands-on accounting experience 
  • In-depth knowledge in US GAAP - Must 
  • Experience with auditing publicly traded high-tech companies – Must 
  • Experience with SOX work or audit - Must 
  • Familiarity with Priority ERP - Advantage 
  • Proven experience in preparing financial statements and reports 
  • High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and strong organizational skills 
  • Proactive mindset with excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities 
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced, dynamic environment 
  • High level of English - both spoken and written - Must 
  • Great interpersonal skills
