A Carrier Analyst oversees and optimizes the global transportation of parcels, ensuring efficient, cost-effective, and timely delivery across international markets. This role involves managing relationships with international carriers, negotiating contracts, and coordinating logistics to meet company objectives and customer expectations.
- Develop and maintain strong partnerships with international carriers to enhance operational efficiency
- Oversee the end-to-end process of international shipments, including scheduling, and tracking, to ensure timely and accurate deliveries
- Regularly assess carrier performance using key performance indicators (KPIs) such as on-time delivery rates and customer satisfaction metrics, implementing corrective actions as necessary. You will be responsible for managing one or more of the carrier exception reports that Operations receives daily.
- Ensure all international shipping activities adhere to relevant laws and regulations, including customs requirements, import/export controls, and hazardous materials handling.
- Work closely with internal teams such as sales, customer service, and tech support to align shipping strategies with overall business goals and customer expectations.
- As part of the Operations team, you will be required to attend a regular departmental meeting where you will be asked to input.
