Director of Technical Delivery

The Director of Technical Delivery is responsible for overseeing and managing the integration of systems, processes, and business units within an organization. This role ensures seamless collaboration between technology, operations, and business functions to drive efficiency and alignment with strategic goals.

This role offers a unique balance of management, technical and customer facing responsibilities as you will be the guide to a variety of brands including top tier ecommerce players during their integration with Global-e. 

Responsibilities: 

  • Develop, integrate, and QA strategies to align technology, operations, and business processes.
  • Oversee multiple integration projects, ensuring quality, timelines, and objectives are met.
  • Identify inefficiencies and implement improvements to enhance business performance.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for leadership teams, vendors, and external partners regarding integration initiatives.
  • Work closely with development teams to implement and QA new features and specific customer requirements 
  • Provide on-going education and technical assistance to current partners and onboarding clients 
  • Take technical ownership during the implementation cycle and meet deadlines for both external clients and internal teams 
  • Own team performance, pipeline coverage, prioritization, and technical quality
  • Coach the team on technical and complex enterprise project execution

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience in integration management, Solution engineer management, or development management.
  • Experience managing and leading global teams across multiple time zones and cultures.
  • Ability to plan, organizing and utilize skills which ensure successful and timely completion of projects. 
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences 
  • Strong technical background with a preferred degree in a technical field.
  • Experience with LLMs, vibe coding and AI tooling
  • Knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, CSS and other client-side technologies 
  • Knowledge of REST and GraphQL API’s and experience troubleshooting with JSON/XML payloads 
  • Knowledge of SQL and experience working with relational databases 
  • Experience with debugging tools and analyzing logs 
  • Ability to multitask and handle various priorities 
  • Previous experience in eCommerce environment is a strong advantage
