Solutions Engineer- Team Lead

We’re looking for an experienced Solutions Engineer Team Lead to play a key role in supporting our, Project, Product and R&D teams, conducting technical discussions with online retailers and brands wishing to expand their cross-border business with Global-e.

The job will include leading the technology and integration tracks in face-to-face as well as remote meetings with prospect and existing clients, being always up to date with ongoing and future developments of Global-e’s systems, as well as taking client’s feedbacks, inputs and requests back to the Product and R&D teams.

Responsibilities:

  • Operational day-to-day management of Global-e’s East Coast Solution Engineer team and activities
  • Lead ongoing Client Success team requests management and support alongside project delivery support
  • Lead to define and implement best practices and guidelines for the team to work with clients and integrate the Global-e solution
  • Act as a product expert by ensuring that you are up to date with features and product roadmaps, and by actively participating in internal technical discussions, contributing “field-level” feedback from clients and prospects
  • Act as the Product’s and R&D’s teams’ mediator by thoroughly documenting feedback, input and requests that are raised during client meetings
  • Work with the team to identify and qualify business opportunities, identify our key customers’ technical objections and develop a strategy to resolve technical impediments
  • Have the technological savviness required to demonstrate and prototype integrations in merchant environments
  • Make recommendations on integration strategies, enterprise architectures, platforms and application infrastructure and provide customers with “best
  • Practices” in order to optimize and ensure the effectiveness of the Global-e’s integrated platform
  • Provide ongoing education and technical assistance to current partners and integrated clients

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in a similar technical and client facing role, past experience managing a SE team is a must
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • BA/BS/Master degree in Computer Science or another technical field
  • 4 years experience in solution design / integration with direct client interaction, in SaaS-based environment – technical sales or solutions engineer role preferred
  • Firm understanding of systems integration concepts, API implementation (RESTful services), technical architecture
  • Experience in collaborating closely with remote teams
  • Established problem-solving skills and troubleshooting abilities
  • Willingness to learn and work with varying technological environments (including emerging technologies), methodologies, and solutions in the Cloud/IT Technology space
  • Ability to multitask and work well under deadlines in a changing environment
  • Previous experience in eCommerce and Logistics/Operations environment is a strong advantage

Salary range: $170,000/yr – $180,000/yr
