Sigma Sports had identified success in international markets as a key component of their growth strategy, but were coming up against obstacles in cross-border selling.

Bikes and wheel sets are the mainstays of Sigma Sports, but these large and bulky products were proving difficult to sell and ship outside the UK. Cross-border shipping costs were unmanageable and often unprofitable to the company. The Results

Sigma Sports has seen substantial global growth since launching with Global-e: their number of orders increased by 120%, with international revenue rising 192%. They increased their active presence to more than 30 new countries and their AOV rose by 50% YoY from 2016 to 2017.

In Ireland, for example, Sigma Sports saw sales revenue increase by 5.3x, in US by 3.4x and in Japan by 4.2x.
