Tara Jarmon has been cultivating an expanding global presence. Despite its rising popularity, the brand realized it was not fully capitalizing on its international e-commerce sales potential and sought to grow its customer base in markets outside the EU. However, the limited customer experience on its webstore hindered Tara Jarmon from fully achieving its goals.
Tara Jarmon could only show pricing and offer payments in USD, GBP, CHF, and EUR. Shoppers in many markets couldn’t pay in their local currency and were exposed to unclear exchange rates and transaction fees. Additionally, the brand could only accept credit cards and PayPal, while many popular local and alternative payment options were not supported.
Moreover, Tara Jarmon could not guarantee a final cost of purchase, including taxes and duties, exposing customers to unexpected charges upon delivery. Additionally, shipping rates were high.
